2024 Dirty Dozen tax scams (4-part series)

This event, which is the first presentation in a 4-part series regarding safeguarding your tax information. It is held by the IRS and is open to the public. The IRS will share current messaging about a variety of common scams that taxpayers can encounter at any time. The IRS warns taxpayers, tax professionals and financial institutions to beware of these scams. The 2nd presentation will cover how to register for your own Online Account to access your current tax information without direct assistance from a customer service representative or a paid preparer. Registration is not required.
