Small business workshops, meetings and seminars, designed to help a small business owner understand and meet their federal tax obligations, are held at various locations across the country. These events are sponsored and presented by IRS federal tax partners. Occasionally, the IRS participates in these events in person or through virtual technology.
Topics range from a general overview of taxes to more specific topics such as records and retirement plans. Although most are free, some events have fees paid directly to the sponsoring organization, not the IRS.
