The IRS system is currently rejecting submissions that include Form 5695 when the QMID contains the letters “I” or “O.” The current workaround requires attaching a binary attachment to the return. Free File Fillable Forms does not support binary attachments. As a result, taxpayers affected by this issue cannot use Free File Fillable Forms to file their return at this time and should consider filing using a different method. |
