Ponte Vedra Beach man pleads guilty to tax evasion and agrees to pay IRS more than $1.9 million in restitution
November 3, 2022 — United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Patrick Brian Hines has pleaded guilty to willful evasion of the payment of taxes. Hines faces a maximum penalty of 5 years in federal prison and has agreed to pay restitution to the IRS in the amount of $1,927,077.90.

Parkersburg man sentenced to prison for tax evasion
July 25, 2024 — Brian E. Drake, of Parkersburg, was sentenced today to two years in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $2,036,141.59 in restitution for tax evasion. Drake admitted to evading payroll and corporate income taxes while the owner and operator of River City Chem Dry (RCCD).
