For trending topics about the health care law and its effect on your taxes, visit IRS.gov/aca. When you have questions, start with IRS.gov to find  the answers you need – when you need them.

This is especially important if you’re looking for the latest information about   the premium tax credit, exemptions from the coverage requirement , and what qualifies as minimum essential coverage under the health care law.  Throughout the year, the IRS posts updated  information about the health care law to IRS.gov/aca – information that will help you understand today what you need to know tomorrow.

At IRS.gov/aca, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions,  forms and publications, and links to online tools that can help you. It’s not just individual taxpayers who will find what they need on IRS.gov. There’s also  information related to rules and responsibilities for employers, as well as tax provisions for insurers, tax-exempt organizations and businesses.

If you need health coverage, visit HealthCare.gov to learn about health insurance options that are available for you and your family, how to purchase health insurance, and how you might qualify to get financial assistance with the cost of insurance.
