Acting United States Attorney Clint Johnson today announced the results of the August 2021 Federal Grand Jury A.

The following individual has been charged with violations of United States law in the indictment returned by the Grand Jury. The return of an indictment is a method of informing a defendant of alleged violations of federal law, which must be proven in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt to overcome a defendant's presumption of innocence.

Paul W. King. False Tax Return (superseding). King of Grove, allegedly created, signed and filed four false tax returns for the years 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Each return included a schedule C for King as the owner of King's Guttering that reported gross receipts. In those, King did not report:

  • $68,350 in gross receipts for 2011;
  • $153,364 for 2012; $136,831 for 2013; and
  • $74,209 for 2014.

In total, King failed to report $432,754 in gross receipts to the IRS.
