FL-2016-21, October 18, 2016 — Victims of Hurricane Matthew that took place beginning on October 3, 2016 in parts of Florida may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

FL-2016-19, September 29, 2016 — Victims of Hurricane Hermine that took place beginning on August 31, 2016 in parts of Florida may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

FL-2016-03, Jan. 26, 2016 — As part of an ongoing pilot program, all taxpayers who filed federal returns last year from Florida, Georgia or the District of Columbia are eligible for an Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) that will help protect them from tax-related identity theft, according to the Internal Revenue Service.

MS-2016-21, March 28, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms and flooding that took place beginning on March 9, 2016 in parts of Mississippi may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

IR-2016-2, January 7, 2016 — Mississippi storm victims will have until May 16, 2016 to file their returns and pay any taxes due, the Internal Revenue Service announced today. All workers assisting the relief activities who are affiliated with a recognized government or philanthropic organization also qualify for relief.

IL/KS/MO-2016-05, Jan. 22, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds and flooding that took place beginning on Dec. 23, 2015 in parts of Missouri may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

IR-2016-132, Oct. 13, 2016 — The IRS today advised taxpayers affected by Hurricane Matthew but not yet covered by a federal disaster declaration with individual assistance that they may qualify for relief from penalties if they are unable to meet Monday’s extended deadline for filing 2015 tax returns.

HOU-2016-08, June 13, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms and flooding that took place beginning on May 26, 2016 in parts of Texas may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

HOU-2016-04, April 26, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms and flooding that took place beginning on April 17, 2016 in parts of Texas may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

April 18, 2016 — The IRS today advised taxpayers who are affected by severe weather in the Houston area and other parts of Texas that they may qualify for relief from penalties if they are unable to meet today’s deadline for filing 2015 tax returns.

WV-2016-02, June 27, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that took place beginning on June 22, 2016 in parts of West Virginia may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

HOU-2016-03, March 21, 2016 — Victims of the severe storms tornadoes and flooding that took place beginning on March 7, 2016 in parts of Texas may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.

VA-2016-08, November 3, 2016 — Victims of Hurricane Matthew that took place beginning on October 7, 2016 in parts of Virginia may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service.
