Delaware practitioner liaison meeting

The Practitioner Liaison Meeting is a session where the leadership of Delaware Tax Pro organizations engage with IRS on federal tax-related topics. The meeting encourages a dialogue between the IRS and the practitioners attending the meeting, focusing on tax practitioner feedback to address systemic issues. The meeting starts off with a filing season wrap up where practitioners raise their questions and/or concerns which are addressed by IRS representatives. This is followed by short presentations of various tax topics by IRS. Attendees are asked to share the meeting minutes (distributed a few days after the meeting) with their members. Any systemic issues or concerns are input into the Issue Management Resolution System (IMRS). The meeting is attended by tax professional organizations in Delaware.
