QI System statuses

Entity Status Description Next Steps
Initiated Your QI, WP, or WT account has been created. Complete and submit your QI/WP/WT application.
Pending Your QI, WP, or WT account is under review. No action required. Monitor updates to your account by accessing your homepage.
Approved Your QI, WP or WT account has been approved. Monitor updates to your account, including notifications regarding renewals of your agreement, by accessing your home page. Ensure your account is accurate by periodically accessing your homepage and reviewing the information.
Rejected Your application or renewal to become a QI, WP or WT was rejected. No action required.
Terminated – Voluntary You have terminated your QI, WP or WT agreement. No action required. You can complete and submit a new application if needed.
Terminated – by IRS The IRS has terminated your QI, WP, or WT agreement. No action required.
Expired Your QI/WP/WT agreement has expired because either you did not renew your agreement by the due date or your renewal request was rejected. No action required.
